For children in school years 3 – 6.

A free club for children in school years 3 - 6 who want to learn how to make computer games, animations and websites.

Learning to code is an important skill now we’re living in a digital age. It’s not just enough for children to know how to use technology. They should know how it works too. Code Club is about fun, creativity and learning through exploring.

Classes will meet Tuesdays on 16 October, 23 October, 30 October and 6 November from 4.00 – 5.00pm.

Membership of the Code Club (Scratch Beginners) is governed by these terms and conditions. By accepting membership to the Code Club (Scratch Beginners) you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

Members of the Code Club (Scratch Beginners) must be between school years 3 – 6 in 2018.

Children must be signed in and out by a parent/guardian at each meeting.

Children must be collected within 10 minutes of class finishing time.

Children are expected to attend the full term’s course. The Library should be informed when your child is unable to attend.

You must be a Library member to attend. Library membership is free and you can join up at any branch.

SMILE! Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image to be published, please notify staff before the event.
