Creating A Clean Energy Blockchain Network - EnergyLab - Chippendale - NSW
Creating a clean energy blockchain network

Just as renewables are transforming energy generation, blockchain has the potential to disrupt how energy is tracked and traded - but how can we unlock its potential and make it a reality?

Join the Smart Energy Council's Sydney Chapter for its June event with guest speaker Leon-Gerard Vandenberg from Solara, which is using blockchain and hardware to create a platform that will underpin the energy markets of the future.

Speaker details

1. Smart Energy Council Sydney Chapter

Reflections on developments in the smart energy industry.

2. Leon-Gerard Vandenberg, Chief Technology Officer, Solara

Solara is creating the necessary trustless and transparent ecosystem to co-ordinate, manage and maximise value from the rapidly growing networks of solar assets. Through the combination of a hardware module and blockchain technology, Solara is tokenising valuable solar assets and creating a new market with rich, new and tradeable solar data sets.

3. Future directions: TBC

Each month we hear from someone a university student studying a smart energy related course.

This month's event will be held at EnergyLab, and you'll be pleased to know beer, wine and soft drinks will be served.

We look forward to seeing you there!
