Are you getting ready to start, or have just started a small business? The City of Parramatta Council's ‘How to Start Your Small Business’ program could be for you!

This program is ideal if you HAVE commenced planning or have just started your small business. It is NOT suitable for those who have not prepared their small business idea, or are only just considering starting their own business.

In partnership with the Greater Western Sydney TAFE Parramatta Business Office, City of Parramatta is offering the ‘How to Start Your Small Business’ 8 week program that provides practical advice for someone starting a small business.

This free 8 week program will provide guidance on writing a business plan, financial planning, social media marketing and getting your business up and running.

Each weekly workshop will be 50% lecture material and 50% Q&A. Classes are highly practical and supportive, with time set aside each week to network and discuss with other like-minded aspiring small business owners.

All trainers are accredited TAFE trainers and experienced industry professionals.

Materials: GWS TAFE will provide all course materials including a participation certificate at the conclusion of the program.

NB: Please note this program is NOT an accredited program.

If you would like to study a small business program accredited with the NSW Department of Education and Training, we recommend you enrol in a Certificate IV in Small Business Management.

Bookings: Places are limited to 20 people.

Partner: GWS TAFE will provide different lecturers or teachers as determined by the requirement of the program to ensure the highest possible success outcomes for the attendees.

Parking is available on-street or in the Eat Street and City Centre Car Parks.

Parramatta Transport Interchange is a 15 minute walk from the venue.
