Nura Gili Taster Days - UNSW Sydney - Sydney - NSW
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

On Tuesday, 6th and Thursday, 8th November Nura Gili will be hosting our annual on-campus "Taster Days" for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Years 7 & 8.

The aim of the event is to give students a taste of university life whilst raising awareness of opportunities offered by higher education. The day will involve fun interactive faculty-based sessions whilst introducing the students to the design thinking process, problem solving ability and build their confidence in what is the world of higher education.

Students will be supervised by current UNSW Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and staff, who will share their experiences of higher education and join in on all the fun on the day.

Nura Gili will cover the cost of transport to and from school, materials and catering.

EOI Instructions

As we only have 30 spots available per taster day, unfortunately each school will only be allocated 6 spots. It is then the responsibility of your school to determine which students you will bring along to our taster days.

Your school can attend both days if you would like.

Once EOI has been received we will contact you with further information.

Please see below which faculties will be represented on each day.

Taster Day One

Tuesday, 6th November

Students will be taken on a journey through the faculties of Engineering, Architecture and Law.

Taster Day Two

Wednesday, 7th November

Students will discover the worlds of medicine, Indigenous culture and creative, arts and media.
