Paper folding fun - - Sydney - NSW
During the April school holidays, come along to Customs House for some family fun and construct your own folded paper globe. There are 4 ready to fold and assemble 3D globes, each a different shape. Fun fact: These paper globes have been created by Mapscaping using real topographic data. This means if you fold it up just right, you will get a geographically accurate globe, making it a great way to explore our earth. While you are at Customs House, take a look at the Cartographica: Sydney on the map. Presented over 3 floors, this exhibition will take you on a fascinating journey through the history of map making, navigating the evolution of the Sydney region. Suitable for all ages, including geo-geeks, map enthusiasts and paper folding fans.
