Splash Together- Term 1 2019 - Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre - Marrickville - NSW
The pool is a fun and motivating place for many children and playing in the water can also be a place for learning.

During Splash Together children will have an opportunity to develop the following skills:

- Communication, interaction and engagement

- Attention and following a routine

- Body awareness, muscle tone and coordination

- Relationships, social skills and appropriate behaviour

- Daily living skills (dressing/showering toileting)

How will Splash together help my child?

- Through following your child's interest in the motivating environment of water

- We will bring toys and suggest activities to support engagement with your child

- Through group time- A sequence of familiar songs with specific movement (we will adapt to meet your child's challenge level)

- We will provide opportunities for choice within activities and songs

Splash Together is not swimming lessons however, we will address the skills needed for water safety and readiness to participate in swim school.

Splash Together is for children with disability or developmental delay of prior to school age

Children who are not toilet trained need to wear swim nappies and Lycra swimsuits or shorts.

Parents and caregivers are to remain IN the pool at ALL times with the child. A sibling is welcome if a second adult can come along with you.

If your family meet the Splash Together criteria, register your interest. You will then be contacted by a staff member after the RSVP date to confirm your spot.

RSVP by Friday 8th February 2019.

If you wish to be taken off the waitlist for the Lego Together program, please let Mana know.
